Our History
EWD Insurance has been providing exceptional insurance services, including Final Expense Insurance and Medicare Supplement Plans, to our clients for years. We started as a small insurance business and have since grown, but we have maintained a manageable client list that allows us to dedicate time and resources to offer outstanding one-on-one service to each client. Our clients are like extended family to us, and we truly value you and your time, whether it's for Medicare Advantage options or other insurance needs.

Meet our Senior Broker and Patient Advocate
Meet Erik W. Darling.
Erik is an accomplished author, lecturer, Patient Advocate and Medicare Advisor/Health Insurance broker.
Prior to becoming an insurance broker, Erik spent over two decades working in various areas of healthcare as a healthcare professional (Nurse). Before that, he served eight years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Now, he brings his knowledge, experience, and compassion from his time as a Nurse and Corpsman into the insurance world.
Since becoming a broker, he has successfully assisted numerous clients with their Medicare insurance needs, including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement Plans, as well as Final Expense Insurance. As an independent broker, Erik is not tied to any one insurance carrier like captive agents, which allows him to find the best insurance products or plans that suit his clients’ needs.
Erik is also a trusted and experience Healthcare Advocate where he uses over 15 years' experience as a Nurse Case manager to help patients and their families navigate through the healthcare system and helps provide solutions to barriers that patients face.
